How It Works
We have designed a clear and simple way to help you to compare the best recycling companies, and find the ones offering the most cash for your mobile phones and gadgets:
- Search - Select your model and click to see a full table of prices
- Filter Your Search - Choose condition and storage capacity of your device and whether it is network locked using the filters on the left side of the comparison page
- Compare - Choose which recycler is best for you
- Get Cash - Follow the ‘Sell Now’ link to enter your details and get paid
Search
In the search box, type in the model of your device and see the drop-down menu appear. Click on the device that you are looking to sell and you will be navigated to the price comparison page.
Compare
You can filter each of the options depending on what your preferences are. These could include the payment period, payment method and price. This saves you from having to look these options up yourself on different websites.
From our list of options, you can find:
- The recycler’s Trustpilot score (star rating out of 5)
- Prices for your chosen condition (New, Good, Poor, Broken)
- Payment period
- Payment methods
- Postage options
Star Rating
To help you decide which company is the best choice for you, we have integrated the Trustpilot score of each of the recyclers into our comparison tool.
We recommend that you read the terms and conditions of each company, particularly in regard to the grading and the condition of your used products, and pay attention to any costs associated with returning your items, in case you do not want to accept the recycler’s amended valuation or alternative offer.
'Good' or 'Poor' Quote
The quotes displayed are estimates that each company is willing to pay for a pre-tested phone in condition 'Good' or 'Poor'. We have summarised the general criteria for Good condition here or see Poor condition criteria here.
We would advise that you read a detailed breakdown of what a recycler accepts under each condition on their terms and conditions before placing your order. You can find the recycler's Terms and Conditions linked under the order form.
'Broken' Quote
When setting the condition as ‘broken’ on the comparison page, the ‘up to’ price will be displayed. To make sure your phone complies with the ‘broken’ condition grading criteria, read the terms and conditions of the recycler that you have chosen. We have summarised the criteria here, but depending on a recycling company, these may vary.
Payment Terms
This is the length of time that the recycler will take to issue your payment after your order has been processed. Some methods will take longer than others, so you may not receive your payment immediately. Most recyclers rely on third-parties to issue your payment, so if your payment takes a bit longer, you can contact the recycler or send us an email.
Payment Method
When using the order form, choose whichever method suits you best, whether this is: PayPal, bank transfer or cheque.
Sell
When you have decided which recycler is best for you, click on the ‘Sell Now’ link and enter your details on the order form. Read the device details carefully, then click Submit and post your device to get your payment.
